Weekly games

So things are heating up. There are at least two crews playing bike polo here in LA. A bunch of us are playing twice weekly, Weds at Woodbine park at 7pm, and Sunday at LA High at 11am. The other crew has been playing once or twice per week two. They can chime in here if they want about the time and place.

I'm thinking we should try to plan a big polo day where all the LA polo players and other interested folks get together, drink beer, eat food, and play polo. More people are playing ... this monthly thing or whatever could eventually turn into some sort of friendly competition.

holiday gathering

on matt's note about having a large(er) gathering of people, i think it'd be awesome to have a winter holiday polo day before some people jet to see family and/or friends in other places. let's shoot for sometime before the 20th and let's really try to get as many people from both groups as possible. maybe even have a little tourney/round robin???

I'm new to the blog but I think that a tourney would be rad. I ride with a crew from Thousand Oaks and some guys from West LA. I bet we could get a decent team together.

So we are going to play tomorrow at 6pm at Woodbine park, next to LA Brakeless. I talked to the LAB guys and we're thinking about calling some sort of big game this weekend. Maybe Saturday. Would the Thousand Oaks and Bicycle Kitchen crews be interested in coming over for a big game, maybe a tourney?

I guess that the Woodbine

I guess that the Woodbine court is just too close to LAB and convenient, so we've never made it to Mar Vista park and I don't think we will. Game on at Woodbine! 7pm.

so, due to recent police activity, i think we no longer have the option of woodbine park, at least, not after 10, and mos def not with booze. with that said, i propose this wed. game be at mar vista park. Second?
